Operation Manager

About The Position

The position is located in the USA. 

We are growing and seeking an Operation Manager to join our ranks and take part in our unique project in the US.

In this position you will be having End-to-end responsibility for the success of the farms in an autonomous operation - assimilating the technological systems along with training and utilization of manpower, in a way that will enable high quality service to the customer. You will be in charge of Team Leaders at the farms and their professional qualifications while mentoring them on the day-to-day tasks. You will also be responsible for the operative processes go as needed - feedback on literature, and verification of procedures, routine maintenance and daily debriefs.

This position is based out of Fresno, CA and involves physical work. 

Responsibilities - what you’ll be doing:


1.    Performs work in accordance with all safety procedures and policies, as well as meets all company corporate requirements related to safety.

2.    Work according to the farms schedule and seasonal operation.

3.    Goal oriented management – meet KPIs and goal on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

4.    Maintains a good attendance record to ensure that there is no interruption to production or services to our customers.

5.    Manage teams of field robotic operators and team leaders and supervise their day-to-day duties and responsibilities.

6.    Develop method of operations along with the progress of the product, as new versions and features come out from the R&D. Test new versions and implement them in the operational work on the farm.

7.    Serve as a point of contact to weekly coordination of farms with the customer.

8.    OJT training for new Team Leaders and Operators

9.     Compose daily debriefs

10. Provide feedback and monitor usage of procedures/progress

11. Provide support, if necessary due to Operator deployment

12. Provide feedback and cooperate with development teams on tech and product issues

13. Provide detailed daily reports on technical status of each vehicle, as well as in-depth analysis of recurring problems and issues.

14. Support the operation – occasionally you may be required to support operating efforts according to business needs and existing qualifications.

15. Represents the company in a professional, respectful manner.

16. Wears all required personal protective equipment.


Requirements - does this describe you?


-      Must be authorized to work in the US

-      Must have Ag background

-      Must have a management experience in leading teams- min of 2 years

-      Must have a proven experience in implementing new technologies.

-      Must have a valid driver's license

-      Must have reliable transportation

-      Must be flexible with schedule; able to work weekends and night shifts
