About The Position

Role Overview

As a fast growing company based in TLV, Israel , BWR Inc. looking for a highly motivated Controller  (CPA is not required) with a "can do" attitude, critical thinking skills, analytical mind, solution orientation, and excellent interpersonal skills to support our business as we position ourselves for growth.

In this role, you will be supporting the execution of daily financial operations by working directly with the internal leadership team (Controller, VP Finance, GM, and CEO) to process payments, compile bi-weekly payroll data and capture business transactions as well as timely and insightful financial data to support business strategy and growth.

This role will report directly to the VP Finance and communicate regularly with Financial Controller and Payroll Manger.




  • Primary responsibility for gathering information and reviewing payroll (payroll firm prepares)
  • Manage and ensure compliance with all GAAP, FASB, and IRS rules and regulations in addition to state, local and corporate policies, regulations, and laws
  • Perform basic accounting functions, such as general ledger entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, reporting, accounts payable input, and coding
  • Perform bank and Credit cards reconciliations and assist in month-end close
  • Oversight and review of AP function including new vendor set-up. Assist in preparing annual form 1099 for vendors
  • Manage billing and work with account managers on new client setup
  • Generate and manage various reports as needed
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and analysis
  • Foster a performance culture resulting in meaningful process changes or improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness, as well as meeting the needs of a high growth business





 ·       3-5 years accounts payable experience.

·       Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

·       Ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency.

·       Organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

·       Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate-level skills in Excel to perform analysis using pivot and lookup tables.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

-Preferred but not required:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA preferred
  •  Experience with ERP systems – NetSuite will be a plus.
